I bought my dress back in February, the dress shop wasn't going to carry that brand anymore (too expensive of a line for our area) and I got an incredible deal on the dress. However it was about 6 sizes too big, so of course I had to have it altered.
I had to meet with the seamstress to have her pin the dress for the alteration, then she called me back to the dress shop a few weeks later to pin up the dress skirt after she'd taken the shaping stuff off along the bottom so she could accurately alter it.
That was the last time I saw my dress or heard from the seamstress. Now, if it didn't need such a drastic alteration, I wouldn't be concerned, but we're talking a size 10 to a size 2. I haven't tried on the altered dress to make sure the alterations are right. My wedding is in a little more than 3 months. Should I be concerned?
