Those that were rec'ing MK eye cream

One of my coworkers sells MK and just handed me her catalog. Which eye cream were you reccommending- the Indulge Smoothing Eye Gel or The timewise Targeted Action Eye Revitalizer?

Re: Those that were rec'ing MK eye cream

  • I'm a MK consultant too. The Indulge soothing eye gel is for immediate relief and the Targeted Action eye revitalizer is for long-term relief. I use the eye revitalizer every day to reduce overall puffiness. Then I use the eye gel on the few rare occasions (becoming more common with the wedding) that I cry and have super puffyness.
  • I love the eye gel and use it in the morning.  I use the Timewise Firming Eye Cream at night.

Another product that I used leading up to the wedding was one for dark circles--but I am not sure if it was the eye revitalizer or not.  It actually worked better than anything I have ever tried--unfortunately the smell was offensive so after the wedding I quit using it!  It was in the old packaging so I am not sure what it was called.
  • Oh I def need something for dark circles!

It's definitely the Targeted Action Eye Revitalizer. It's a roll-on liquid (or at least that's the current packaging). It has helped my dark circles also. <div>
</div><div>It does have a peculiar smell that bothers some. It honestly doesn't bother me at all. I had no idea people didn't like it until I read it online. I smell grapefruit (it does have grapefruit extract), but that's it. Maybe my nose is missing some sensors??</div>

Yes, that is it--best stuff I ever tried (I was using it religiously every day leading up to the wedding).  I could not get past that smell though!

Oh and while we are on the subject MK users, I LOVE the new night recovery stuff or whatever it is (Night Restore and Recover Complex).  OMG, every morning when I wake up, it looks like I did microderm the night before.  I can't get over it.  I'm a little worried it's breaking me out though so I am going to use it sparingly.
  • Well a lot of the face things I use are not always the best smell (not like poo, but not like roses) so I dont think that would be a big deal for me.

I think I will have to check these both out.

Everyone raves about this. I'm a touch young to use it yet because it's more for those who are already showing some signs of aging, but I do use the Replenishing Serum +C. I've got my mom using the Night R&R and she loves it. It does have a thicker consistency than some of the other products. Like everything else, introduce it slowly to see how your skin reacts. I think I'm going to start using it on myself about 2 months before the wedding to really really improve my skin :)
  • I'd trust anything Stephie recs.  She looks about half her real age in her photos...
  • Wow... ditto my myusername - you look fantastic Steph!

[QUOTE]Yeah, I love the Vitamin C serum (although I really only use it after microderm).  Hee, I didn't think the R&R being for older women!  But that is definitely me and I love it so far.  When I've used it, I really don't feel like I need anything else, but I've went ahead and used my intense moisturizing cream (which is my night cream basically) on top of it since it's winter and I have dry skin.  Maybe I'll just try it alone and see how that works.  (It smells a little weird too BTW but I've already gotten used to it.) Oh and I do NOT sell MK in case anyone is wondering--I've been asked to about 1 million times.  But I do love the products and attribute my use of them to maintaining a younger looking complexion <strong>(I'm 42)</strong>.

WHAT!!! No way!! I would never have guessed. You look fabulous.
  • Oh thanks for the compliments!  I mainly attribute staying out of the sun/wearing sunscreen to looking younger--luckily, I was never a sun worshipper as a teenager and I have never tanned in a tanning bed.  But my skin definitely changed for the better when I started using MK so I have to think it has played a part.  I have thought about changing to a skincare line with stronger anti-aging properties but I never bother because I figure if it's not broke, don't fix it!  :)  I got carded just the other night for a martini at PF Chang!
