Tan Lines

So, just got back from a beach vacation and noticed that I have blatently obvious tan lines.  I have a sweetheart neckline and there is no way peopel aren't going to notice.  Without having to go to a tanning salon, what can I do to fix this?

Re: Tan Lines

  • Ugh, I don't know.  I got a spray tan to cover mine but they were very light as I stayed out of the sun for about 3 months before my wedding so that they would fade.
  • I would start applying tanning lotion just to the white areas to help even it out, and if by the week of the wedding it isn't where you want it to be, consider getting a spray tan.

If it makes you feel better, I went on a long bike ride two weeks before my wedding last summer and got horrible racerback tan lines on my back. The spray tan didn't really do much (I should have been applying tanning lotion on my own but didn't) and I rocked the tan lines at my wedding. Though I hated it, it wasn't a big deal. So I would try to cover them the best you can but not stress over it.

  • Girls on the August boards keep talking about the Jergen's gradual lotion. I would give that a shot. Or else you can buy a body scrub and try to exfoliate it off.
