Too Much Makeup?

Hi Everyone--

So I just got my trial and my makeup looked nice, but it was just SOO much on there! I know that you are supposed to put a little more on so that the pictures look nice and like you have some makeup on, but I just felt a bit clownish. Does anyone have any advice on whether toned down still works? I want to feel comfortable and beautiful in person, not just in pictures.

    I second the PPs idea of taking a picture of  yourself. However, even if it looks great in the pictures, you don't want to feel self concious on your wedding day, so maybe talk to your makeup artist if you still feel weird with her makeup application. Ask her if there's a way to emphasize your eyes, but tone down your lipstick or vice versa. I'm sure you looked fabulous but you want to feel 100% beautiful on your wedding day so make sure you're comfortable with it.
