Morning Wedding - Hair/ Makeup

Hi Everyone,
I'm hoping someone can offer some advice.  I have a 10:00am Saturday wedding (with a rehearsal dinner the night before).  My photographer would like me to be ready no later than 8:15 am.  My MOH is staying over my house the night before, and my bridesmaids live about 30 minutes away, and have children that are also in my wedding party.  My plan was to go get my hair and makeup done in town, and bring my MOH with me as she is staying over the night before, just so that the bridesmaids don't need to get up at an ungodly hour.  But now, I'm starting to feel guilty about not getting their hair and makeup done, too. (I'm not requiring any particular style or makeup - I don't mind if they do it on their own - but feel it might be a courtesy to them).  My understanding is that if you hire a team to come to your house, that they rotate through all of the wedding party, and it could take hours.  Is that true?  I can't imagine if there were 8 of us, they would send 8 people, correct?  I'm so torn about what to do...

Honestly, with 8 people it would be tough.  You need to allow an hour for each BM for both hair and makeup and at least 1.5 hours for yourself.  Most MUA's only bring 1 assistant, so while it is doable, with a 10:00 ceremony you would be starting in the wee hours (and would most likely be charged an "early morning" fee).  Usually for a large party, I recommend a salon, but nothing is going to be open that early.  With everyone being so far away, I would leave the BMs to their own devices, honestly.  I guess you could give them the option, but you will have to plan on it being very, very early.

Don't forget to leave time for a bite to eat as well and at least 20 minutes to dress.

I agree. My ceremony is at 10 AM on Wednesday and my hair stylist/MUA is just doing me, I'm eloping, and she is come at 7:15. If you had all 8 to get done at once it would be a very early appointment with an extra charge.
