What's the best type of hairdo to wear at the beach?

I am going to be having a beach wedding but am at a loss for how I should wear my hair. I have always envisioned my wedding day wearing my hair down with loose curls. But now I'm concerned since we are having both the wedding and reception outside. I dont want my hair to fall flat and be super wind blown! Beaches can be pretty windy! Has anyone had a beach reception before and if so what do you recommend for how to wear your hair??

I would recommend a style that keeps your hair out of your face. Perhaps you could do a half up, half down style with some beach waves/curls. That way at least if it is windy, you won't have to worry about it being in your face. 

This is one of my favorite off the face hairstyles and think it would be quite cute at a beach wedding

My vote is half up or total updo. An update can be a simple low set lose style bun too. Lots of great options.
