I'm bored. Should have brought my envelopes with me to work so I could work on addressing them. For the first time that I can ever remember, I have literally NOTHING to work on.

I just got back a Maggiano's field trip. I literally went to an Italian restaurant with the culinary teacher and her classes- ate, and now sitting at my desk for another 20 minutes. I have a dress fitting at 4:30, so hopefully all this food digests fast. Such bad timing.

Good call! I'm pretty bored too. Yay it's Friday, that's pretty awesome! I'm counting down the hours until 5o'clock. I am looking forward to a large cocktail! What is everyone's cocktail of choice??? I usally do a glass of wine (chardonnay, pinot noir or cab) or if out at a bar I usually drink vodka/soda water with a lime (has the fewwest calories in it)  My bridesmaid dresses were just delivered to me at work. They look really good, so super excited about them :-)

It will actually be my 3rd. I had a lot done to it style wise so they said I would need 5-6 rather than 2-3. I'm going to take pics this time, I'll post them on Monday!

I'm watching 4 Weddings the British version.  It is unbelievable how incredibly tacky these weddings are.  I wouldn't expect that from the Brits.  Only thing I like are the bag pipes and kilts.  I wish I had a scottish guest coming to my wedding who was wearing a kilt.

Hi! I am thinking about engravings for our wedding bands.  This is the LAST step before ordering them. I feel like this is taking way too long. FI has been going back and forth via email with his dad's friend who is a jeweler.  FI and I are going to discuss if we will do engravings or not. I'm thinking maybe just the wedding date and initials? Anyone have an opinion on engravings? 

lvissers--- My go to is usually wine (my favorite white wine is sauvignon blanc and I love pinot noir, chianti, malbec, etc.) , but I also will drink vodka tonic.

I have 13 minutes left of work!!  We are going to meet our friends new baby tonight.  I am excited but I would love to just stay home and crack open a bottle of wine!!  Oh well we are just ordering a pizza with them at 630 so we should be home early. 

We decided to send out our invites tomorrow morning.  I have been so stressed I just want to get the damn things in the mail.  Plus next saturday I am going to be busy getting ready for my BM's bach party that night.  It is also FI's bach party so I am happy that I will be out partying too

mbody I was just watching Gypsy Weddings a few nights ago...those girls are NOT real life, they are crazy! the dresses are insane and all of the families are nutso! (It's a really entertaining show though, hahaha!)

In summer I like a margarita (blood orange or pomegranate) on the rocks.  I love mojitos, caipinhas and caipiroskas.

Yes! Please PIP! I love dress photos the most. Wow - 5-6 fittings, I would think of inviting my seamstress to the wedding (kidding, obvs).

lvissers - Hmm. That's a tough one. If I'm feeling like getting drunk, I order a VERY dirty vodka martini with extra olives. On a normal drinking night, I drink mostly red wine. Depending how heavy the pour is, it's apparently fewer calories than vodka. The issue is that most places pour you more than one serving, so it ends up being more caloric than vodkas (although totally ok by me). Recently, I've been into French cab blends. Fiance doesn't like red so when we get a bottle of wine, we get a Sancerre.

My bands were too skinny to get something engraved.  I stole madisonpenny's idea and had them engrave on FI's band "put it back on, love carly, 7/20/2012"

We were JUST talkikng about what to engrave on ours. FI had a great idea that I love. Our 1st dance song is Etta James' "At Last" so he suggested we engrave At Last, then our wedding date. LOVE it!!

Ok, so ya know how they put the words at the bottom the screen sometimes because they have such thick heavy accents? Well, we have a 60" tv and I can barely read the words. (Probably a combo of bad eye sight and small print) However, sometimes minutes go by at a time, and I don't know what they're even saying.

I will be in Chicago tomorrow night and even though I typically try to watch my alcohol calories...tomorrow will be full of tequila shots and margaritas!!!!

Otherwise I am a wine girl.  I love pinot noirs mmmm. Fiance and I have also been regularly getting champagne when we go out and we always tell our waiters we are celebrating our engagement. Even though we have been engaged for 7 months. :-D Sometimes we get the champagne for free when we pretend to be celebrating. Quite frankly, I love champagne, and it's fun to celebrate being engaged, since I only plan to be engaged once in my life

lvisser- I am a beer girl.. If I am drinking at home or brining my own I prefer Corona Light if I am out in a bar normally just Miller Light.
