My wedding is in a week, and yesterday I had a facial. I booked it a week out on purpose since I know it's a no-no to book it too close to a big event. But now I am wishing I had gone for two weeks instead. I am so annoyed!
I went to a really nice place. It says on their website that their facialists are experts at gentle extractions and that you should not have any redness or breakouts afterwards. They even say that they do facials on women the day OF their weddings.
My skin feels amazing to the touch, soft smooth and wonderful, just what I wanted. But I basically look like I've been beaten. There are angry red blotches all over my cheeks, chin, and forehead. There are litle red dots, SCABS really, also all over from where she did painful extractions that basically made me bleed.
I rubbed neosporin all over my face before bed last night, and it looks slightly better today, but I am so angry! I am also starting to break out a little on my chin and forehead.
Anyone have any good cures for all this nonsense that will work within a week? I've heard witch hazel can help, but really I don't want to make my skin any more irritated than it already is. Ugh!
Lesson learned: never get a facial from a woman named "Timmy."
