Does anyone have a good recommendation of where I can get my wedding dress altered preferably in Fort Worth? I am on a budget and do not want to pay David's Bridal prices.

    Not sure if you are willing to drive to Irving, but everyone here recommends Becky Fowler. She's awesome and has great pricing.

    I had my alterations done by a lady in Ft. Worth off of 30 and Hulen. She works for Alfred Angelo during the day in their alterations department, and alters on the side for a heavy discount. I got a french bustle, had her take out the sides a bit, remove a layer of tulle from my skirt, steam the dress and veil and my total was $80.

    She did wonderful work and was FAST! I dropped my dress off on a Thursday and I picked it up from her that next Wednesday. I found her on Craigslist once I discovered that both Becky Fowler and Leighanna at Maybe Sew were booked up.

    Thank you Carmen for the suggestion. I  looked her up and she has some great reviews! I will check her out even though I'm sure she must book up fas as Courtney said. My wedding is November so I need this done ASAP.

    FWIW, Becky called me today and said she is way backed up, so she may not be able to fit you in.  She has recommended Leighanna with Maybe Sew, though.
