Re: Teeth Whitening

  • Keep! You don't want it too close because sometimes the gums will react badly to the whitening even if you've done it before, so you want to allow enough time to heal if necessary! Also it will be good a couple of days after you have gotten it done to start a good at home treatment. My favorite is the strawberry and baking soda method, because I don't like whitening strips because they are not fully FDA approved and can wear away at your enamel quite badly. What you will need for the berry-soda method is 1 Strawberry and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda. Crush the strawberry to a pulp, then mix with the baking soda until blended. Use a soft toothbrush to spread the mixture onto your teeth. Leave on for 5 minutes, then brush thoroughly with toothpaste to remove the berry-baking soda mix. Rinse. (A little floss will help get rid of any strawberry seeds.) Make sure you brush with toothpaste afterward just to get all the sugar out! Good Luck!
  • I recently switched toothpaste to OPTIC WHITE BY COLGATE and I am so happy with my teeth:)
