Grapevine, TX Hotels

Does anybody have a hotel they have used or will be using for out of town guest in the Grapevine/Southlake area? I am getting married October 2012 at Paradise Cove in Southlake and trying to find a hotel in the area that is budget friendly (around or under $100) that ideally has a shuttle to take or pick people up at the site.. Has anybody gotten married in the area and found something like that? Tips would be appreciated, even if it doesn't have everything I need!!

I just got married three weeks ago in Grapevine and used the Hilton Garden Inn on Main St and 114 as my host hotel. Our room rate was $109 and they did provide a shuttle, but it was only within 5 miles I think and Paradse Cove falls outside of that. Not sure they can meet your rate but try Hilton at Town Square or the Marriott Solona.

YES! The Hyatt Place...it was awesome.

The room rate for my guests was only $80 (this was in 2010, though)...and these are damn nice rooms. Check them out online. It included breakfast and they gave us a meeting area for the families to congregate in all weekend. Even let us bring in food. They also gave my guests the gift baskets we made with no fees (some places charge you)

Plus, they have a free shuttle to/from the airport and 5 miles surrounding. You can walk to Grapevine Mills & all the restaurants too.

I would actually contact the City of Grapevine or the Visitor's Bureau.  They have a shuttle for all over town and they might be able to help you out or they might know if a hotel that will go out there for you.

See if there is a Homewood Suites by Hilton. We had great luck at the one by the airport, but there may be one nearer to you. I love LOVE there set-up. Each room is like a mini-suite with a kitchen with all the essentials and the bedroom is seperate from the living area so it's great for having people over. Rates are reasonable, but negotiate for weekend rates. And they have amazing breakfast with make your own waffles!

They even let the guest have the large social room downstairs for an after-party!

Just an FYI...there is a Homewood Suites right next to the Hyatt Place. (I basically check out ALL the hotels around Grapevine Mills). Unless they've updated it since June 2010, it was really...dingy. Not like other Homewood Suites I've stayed in. I was disappointed. They weren't really cheap either.

I would say either the Gaylord or the Marriot in Westlake :D

That's too bad about the Homewood by Grapevine Mills. The one by the airport is beautiful and they had free shuttle to the airport and my venue in Grapevine.
