It was quite a PITA. I have several different lenders, so each one had a slightly different process. I think I was able to apply for one online, but the others I wrote a letter for? I remember making several calls to find out about the process. It was during those calls that I found out I was not eligible for deferrment. But I *think* mine are all government loans. And I'm pretty sure you can't do forbearance after you've consolidated. If I remember correctly. It was almost a year ago.

You should be able to ask them to reduce the payment. I was able to do that with my Sallie Mae private loans. They have different levels like interest only, income dependent, etc. Just call them up & ask if they can lower the payment.

I'm way too excited about my cakes! Plus the cost is amazing!!! She's able to do the stadium cake which I'm excited about and mine is going to have crystals on each layer!! She does amazing work! I showed my mom and she's even want to get one for my dad's birthday in Feb! :)

Yes they are!  We get our order form on Thursday at SD's meeting!  I think my mom is the most excited about this!  Cookie sales are different from when I was a GS but it's still GS cookies so the reward is always the same for me,  THIN MINTS!

serlace-YES!! She said it's her first stadium cake! She seems excited! I showed her pictures from a couple of cakes I found online that were of that stadium. I gotta find a cute picture so she can put it on the jumbo tran! :) I think I have one on my blog that I posted.

Haha, yes, lets rehash what happened.  My plan was to say 'No' because it's always the same grandfather pushing school sales on us.  Yes I know your granddaughter is this high and a cute little thing with a big smile.  OK fine, I'll buy the Berry things for my grandma.  3 Thin Mints, 1 Samoa and 1 Berry cookie later, here I am.

I remember back in the days where the cookies were cheaper and had easy names-peanut butter patties, shortbread, carmel de lites, shortbread, peanut butter sandwhiches...etc. When I sold them They were 2.00 (I think maybe 2.50)

My mom already brought me several boxes to put in the freezer!

I'm ashamed to say i had to throw two boxes away last week. :( I was going through boxes my FI packed when we moved. How they got thrown into the boxes with the jackets...I haven't the slightest idea...but i figured it was best they be tossed lol

I'm slightly addicted to Samoas... And my mom found some cookies that are almost exactly the same, except have more chocolate, at the dollar store.  She bought some for me a while back... I haven't let her get any more in a while, because I crave them almost worse than I've ever craved anything.  It's absurd!!
