I never tan or sunbathe so usually I have some strange tan lines as my wardrobe changes from t-shirts to tank tops. I often have three different "levels" of color going on. Since I'm getting married in July, I've decided to try and not let this happen so I'm not tri-colored for my wedding. (dress has thin straps)
I'm a teacher and work the LAX games after school. Our first games were this week and I've already started on the "farmer's" tan! I'm Italian and get dark quickly. I have to wear a school-issued polo shirt for coaching and will be doing this until the end of June. Wedding is July 1.
I'm trying to figure out what I can do to either even out the inevitable inverse T-shirt tan or prevent it from happening. I thought about wearing long sleeves to prevent a tan but decided I would just be too hot. I've never tanned at a place before but I thought maybe if I go now, get a "base", then use high SPF when I'm outside at the games I might be one color come July 1.
I won't ever get a spray tan or use tanning lotions; I find it creepy.
Any ideas or tips better than what I'm going with now?
