Weird to do multiple hair trials with different people??

Since you ladies were so great at helping with my eye liner question i thought i would throw another one at you!!

I have 3 people who are willing to do my hair, 2 of them are professional stylists and 1 is a good fried of my Fi. My question is, would it be ok to have all three run a trial on doing my wedding hair, or would the 2 that i didn't go with be offended?? One of the stylists have been my stylist all of my life, the other stylist is a gf i went to school with.

I guess i am over analyzing (like i usually do) and the wedding isn't for another 6 months, i dont know why i am stressing over this so soon....

Any thoughts would be great!!

  • I think it's fine to have a trial run with a professional stylist and then not pick her.  You would be implying that you like another professional better, but that's part of business and it's not rude.  However if I were FI's friend I might be offended if I did your hair for a trial run and then you chose someone else.

Honestly I would stick with the person who has been your stylist all your life, since she knows your hair and your personal preferences.

  • I had two trials with 2 different people--but that is because I hated my first one.

Personally, I would pick the stylist you are most comfortable with and only do a second trial if you are not satisified.  It's really just stress you don't need otherwise with the possibility of hurt feelings.

  • Stephie is wise as always.
  • I think I may just stay with my stylist, she knows how my hair holds curls and what to do with it to make it stay.

    Thanks for insight ladies!!!

  • Stick with someone who you have been using.  And not to mention... if you go with the friend.. and you don't like it... would you hold it against that person? Keep it professional! Happy planning!
