Maybe I'm a little slow on this, but I just recently found out about this shellac stuff and I'm super excited!
I have always had problems growing out my nails because they always seemed to crack, peel and break. When FI and I got engaged, I decided I needed to do something about my nails, because I do not want to have to get fake nails. I started taking hair skin and nail vitamins and keeping a clear coat of polish on them to try to help, and it was working a little, but I was still having issues. Until my FMIL suggested shellac. It's this awesome nailpolish that lasts up to 3 weeks without chipping or peeling. It's supposed to protect your nails so they have a chance to grow. I'm trying it in clear for now, but they have all kinds of colors and can do french tips also (which is what I'll do for the wedding).
Anywho, just thought I'd share this find in case anybody else has nail issues like I do.
