My FMIL wants to rent a ball pit and popcorn machine for the kids at our wedding (it's at their house and outside).
I really don't want to hurt her feelings, but I just feel like a ball pit and popcorn machine are going to put this wedding more towards a kids carnival theme. They've already purchased 2 pinatas for the kids (I didn't have a say in that). We already have lawn games (bean bag toss, bocce ball, etc). Add a ball pit and a popcorn machine and I feel like it's going a bit overboard.
What do you think?
And, what is a nice way that I can turn down her offer without hurting her feelings?
