Remind me how awesome CAKE is!!

So, our venue has a meal package that includes dessert. (Chocolate cheesecake or tiramisu! YUM!) They have a very reasonable cake cutting fee, and if you decide you just want your cake for dessert, they'll waive the fee altogether. 

The last few cakes I've had have been mediocre, and I'm inclined to just go with their dessert option to save a few hundred $, but its THE cake! The most special and romantic cake I'll ever have! Talk me into keeping it!!!

    We're doing the cheesecake that the venue provides to save cost. The cake on display will be an artificial cake with a real top for FI and I to have at our first anniversary.  At first I was feeling so fake about not having a real cake, but it just makes the most sense in our case, and we get a real top layer, so that's a compromise!

    do whatever you want and what works for your budget!
