Hey everyone,
I'm not getting married until 7/1/12, but the other day I was at Hobby Lobby and got a bit carried away. They had all candles and stands 50% off, so I started looking for unity candle/holder options. I absolute loath the goofy heart/ribbon unity candle sets that I keep running into, and I can't seem to find ANY that are not cheesy or ridiculously overpriced.
So, I was looking around and found three pillar candles, ivory color with a bit of texture (no hearts!) and some pillar stands (silver with a subtle design). I figured that we couldn't light the center pillar with two pillar candles, so I got two short tapers to use to light the center pillar. I brought it home, and my mom was all, "Um, you can't light the center one with those two pillar candles." She made it seem like a big deal to light the center candle with the two individual candles.
Now I'm second guessing my purchase. Am I just ruining the tradition? Should I take it back and keep looking? I just REALLY don't want to spend much (limited budget), and I don't want cheesy candle holders. Any ideas on where to shop would be greatly appreciated!

Also, I would love to get unscented candles. I am very sensitive to strong smells. They give me a headache. I can't seem to locate unscented candles either.
