I received a response today in the mail for my reception and the person wrote a zero with a line through it under each food choice I had. Do you think that means they aren't attending? I have never seen a response like that before.

    No there wasnt spot for yes or no just food choices.

    So wait, there was no "yes" or "no" or ___will be attending ____will not be attending, but you're asking why they'd put 0s in all the food choices?  Yes, they are trying to tell you they are not coming since they had no other way of doing so.

    No there wasnt spot for yes or no just food choices. In this case, how else would you expect them to respond?  They didn't have an option of just saying no, so they were making sure you understood they were not attending.I would've personally written "no" somewhere on the card, but this way works too.
