I did boudoir photos for him. I can't wait to give him the book on our wedding day. A lot of the girls on my local did b-pics and they all said they're a huge hit with their DH's. I told FI I don't want anything from him, so he'll be very surprised when he opens my gift. :0)

i'm getting FI a custom made tallit  (jewish prayer shawl) as a gift.  don't think he's got any plans for me, which is fine. 

if you're committed to getting him something, maybe think about getting him an item he'll use and love for a lifetime. i love the idea of FI throwing on his tallit 20 years from now and telling someone "i got it from my wife at our wedding."  i'm sure that's why watches, cufflinks, jewellery and other keepsakes are most typical...of course b-pics last a lifetime too, and are great fun to have done as well!  i also think a piece of art or a framed photograph that depicts a meaningful theme could be nice too...something that you'll have forever.  that would be my vote.

I'm getting him cufflinks that he can wear with his army uniform or with a regular suit.

A nice framed photo of yourself to have on his desk at work.  i like the cufflinks idea too!

I am giving him a pocket watch that I had inscribed with our wedding date on one side and his monogram on the other. I think that's a pretty classic gift, and one I know he will always cherish.
