Irish Traditions

So my FI is almost 100% Irish. He has never had any Irish traditions in his family's weddings, but I think it would be a nice touch. I'm not looking for anything big, but something small and cute.

    One of my good friends incorporated the marriage bell tradition into her ceremony. The bride and groom ring the bell together, with her hand over his. Then they keep the bell in their home and ring it to end a fight, as a reminder of their love for each other and why they got married. It was really a very beautiful tradition that I had never seen before.
