An engagement party is being thrown for us at the end of April. I have read online, and was told by my mom, that is customary for the bride-to-be to present the groom-to-be with a gift at the party. I kind of like this idea, to reciprocate the engagement ring in a way. However, the most commonly suggested gift is a watch with a meaningful engraving and my fiance does not wear a watch. Any ideas on a gift that would be appropriate?
