I put blue stones on the bottom of my shoes spelling out I DO.  Pics in bio.

    Or blue underwear?

  • I'm wearing blue shoes.  You could wear blue earrings or a hairpin, or you could wrap a blue ribbon around your bouquet.

  • I haven't decided between sapphire earrings, blue underwear and blue nail polish.  But definitely one of those.
  • You could pin a blue ribbon in your dress or stitch your initials in your dress with blue thread.

My sister wore blue underwear for her wedding. I'll be wearing blue shoes but also a blue topaz necklace. Topaz is my birthstone and blue makes the package complete. My bridesmaids and I will all wear necklaces with the same stone which will make a nice coherent look.

But I've also heard of using blue pins or jewels or feathers in your hair. A friend of mine wrapped a blue ribbon around her hand and wrist. It sounds weird but it was really beautiful because her mom was the one who draped it on.
  • I got some sweet blue undies at Fredericks of Hollywood online sale the other day. They were only 6.99 and I love them. That will be my something blue

  • Yup, I wore a really cute pair of panties from Frederick's as well. They said bride on the butt and had a little blue bow on the front. I also had blue on my tossing garter. You don't have to pick just one, you can wear a combo of things.
  • Blue undies are pretty common!
Maybe a single blue flower incorporated into your bouquet?  Or a blue gem in a necklace, earings, ring, hairpiece?

    Blue ribbon around your bouquet?

    There are endless possibilities.

I always thought it was cute to "hide" the something blue.  LIke you can buy undies with a little blue bow on them, or just blue undies!  Then everyone will be asking you, "what is your something blue?" and you can coyly tell them it's a secret.

My something blue is my garter :)

  • I was going to have my bridesmaids sign the bottoms of my shoes with blue sharpie...haha
  • I like the signing of the bottom of shoes idea... I had a blue garter as well. Also the idea for either a blue something around your boquet. I have also seen ppl with a white feather (with a little blue in it) as a head piece. It was very cute on her..she is very creative too. You could also try an anklet.
  • my ribbons for my bustle are blue.  you could ask your seamstress when you have dress fittings if this is an option.  or if you could sew something on hem of your dress using blue thread/ribbon.

  •  i'm hoping to find a tiny little grover (you know, the gangly blue guy from sesame street :) that my florist can work into my bouquet...  we'll see if that works.  if not, i have a gorgeous antique star sapphire ring from my great-grandmother that i can wear...
