So here's the deal.. My folks split when I was little and my dad was never around / mom didn't want him around. Anyways she remarried and I grew up with her new husband who is a great person. In 2007 I lost my brother and my dad and I became very close. Come to find out he only lived about an hour away. Now that I'm getting married I need to figure out who is going to walk me down the aisle. My dad is ok with having them both walk, and hes fine with either or, because he knows my step-dad raised me to be a good person. My step-dad wants my dad to walk me because he is my real dad. And just for the cherry on top, my mom is begging me to have my step-dad walk me down because I'm his only daughter and my dad can have the honor with my other sister (from my dads side). Has anyone else dealt with something like this??? Or have any words of wisdom??
