I just got eengaged a few days ago, and I'm so excited I've already been planning a bit.
However, I have one problem- I'm sure my dad will want to walk me down the aisle (probably expects that he will), but I do not get along with him AT ALL. I would love for my mother to walk with me, but my dad would definitely be offended. Is it acceptable for me to walk by myself? Or maybe with both parents? Otherwise, is there any way to justify to my dad why I want mom to walk with me instead, or a way I can make up for it?
