Flower BOY?

I know this sounds weird, but my FI has a DD (age 8) and a DS (age 6). We are getting married in August 2012. I have 3 nephews and a niece that I am also very close to (my niece is 11, and the nephews are 8, 5, and 3). I am thinking of having the 2 girls as jr. bridesaids, and my oldest nephew and suture stepson as jr. groomsmen. That leaves my other 2 nephews- the 5 year old to be the ring bearer, and the 3 year old (who will be 4 by then). I would liket o ahve him be the flower boy. Has anyone done this before? I am just wondering what people's reactions were and how you executed it. TIA!

Re: Flower BOY?

  • I think a flower boy would actaully be called a 'page' but serve the same purpose as flower girl (no real function but looking cute, lets be honest).  You could also have him carry something like the book/bible used for a reading rather than flowers if you think the flowers would be too 'girly'.

    Sign idea is also adorable!
