bestman and matron honor

can you have two bestmans and two matron of honor

Re: bestman and matron honor

  • Yes, of course you can.  Though if they'll be your only attendants, I'd just call them both bridesmaids and groomsmen.

  • Yes, but they'd be Best Men and Matrons of Honor.

The term Matron of Honor also refers specifically to a married woman.  So if you have two friends and one is married, and one unmarried, technically you'd have a Maid of Honor, and a Matron of Honor.

  • Then both ladies would be Matrons of Honor.

  • We plan to have two best men, actually -- a bride's best man (my son, who will be 18) and a groom's best man.  That's the extent of the teeny, tiny wedding party.  LOL!
  • I have "Co-Matrons of Honor" - my FI is having one BM and one GM.  We are also having a teeny, tiny wedding party.  Smile

That sounds like a seriously screwed up comic book.  That I would totally read.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • I have a maid of honor and a matron of honor.  My Fiance has just one best man - his twin brother.  Do whatever makes you happy!
