Happy 2010 to all!  I come with a question.

I was planning on making one of those trees for the place cards for my fall themed wedding but this is a question valid for any place cards really.  I was curious about what you put down for guests.  For instance: say I'm inviting a cousin to the wedding and he doesn't always have a girlfriend very long.  Chances are he will bring a date to the wedding but I won't know her specific name.  What do I put on his guest's placecard?

I have a spot on the RSVP for names to be written in. Also, if they RSVP for 2 but only write their name, I will call and ask who they are bringing. I will be putting each individual's name on the place card, rather than "Guest of ___" which is something I have seen done.

I have found it difficult to get their names, so I think I am going to have to write "Guests of"
