I'm trying to figure out how to include my step-dad at our wedding in July. My dad passed away almost 12 years ago... I was never all that close to him. My mom remarried two years ago, while my step-dad makes her extremely happy, we're not close at all. He has put a small amount of money towards our day. I'd like to include him somewhere, but I don't want to make him wear a tux, we are getting married outside in early July. I'm not all that keen on having a step-dad/daughter dance. I'm also walking myself down the aisle (if I was to have anyone it would have been my mom, but I just want her to enjoy the day)
Any ideas?
