Rehearsal dinner suggestions near Denton

I'm getting married at Ashton Gardens near Denton and don't know the area that well. What are some nice restaurants close by for a rehearsal dinner?

I'm in a similar situation- getting married in Denton but I'm not from around there.  This has been challenging, like what PP said, there are not a lot of nice restaurants in Denton, but I'll share what I found.  We are getting married in the north side of Denton, so Lewisville is too far, but if that's an option for you I think they have more nice places.

In Denton, we looked at the Greenhouse which is a mix of types of foods, mostly American, and has a room you can reserve that seats up to 35 ppl.  This was going to be our first choice, but our day booked before we called back.  There is also a little Italian place across the street from the Greenhouse (I can't remember the name) that is in what looks like a house and they will let you rent out the entire top floor if you have a big group.  I've heard the food is really good, but we're doing Italian at the wedding so we didn't want to do it 2 nights in a row. We also looked at El Guapo and Miguelito's, but FMIL didn't like either one.

So, we are still searching, but I hope this helps you, good luck!

I'm getting married at Ashton Gardens too! When is your date? Wink

And there is an outback or texas land in cattle. There aren't a whole lot of nice restaurants in Denton. We are considering going to Flower Mound/Lewisville area for our rehearsal dinner. There are more options there.

I'm getting married June 18! When is your date? And we are starting to look at options outside of Denton. I think the last restaurant that was mentioned was Gloria's, but I've never been there. Thanks for the help!

are you looking for a more formal type place? gloria's is not that formal. it's more of a casual tex-mex place.

We are getting married in denton (harmony chapel) and have looked at trail dust and prarie house.  They are both barbeque/steak places and both have rooms that you can rent out.  It is a little on the expensive side (for me anyways), but they are options that we found.

YUM! The Trail Dust would really be cool if you have OOT guests and your budget allows. And the banditos from Prairie House are amazing...I'm not sure if I have ever craved them at 9 AM before, but theres a first time for everything.
Both are east of Denton on 380 near Cross Roads and Little Elm.

The Italian place mentioned above that is in a house is Giuseppe's.  They have a room in the back that can hold about 25 as well as other rooms.  We had my graduation party there and it is not that expensive.

There is also Hannah's, Abby Inn (off the square), PourHouse Sports grill and the Greenhouse (as mentioned above).  A past knottie had her RD there and had a great experience and we have a current knottie using them next month.

One of my original ideas for our RD was Bochy's Bistro.  They will close the place down for a minimum- not sure what it is.

I'm going to second Hannah's. I threw a shower there, and it's a really cute restaurant. The food is amazing, and they have a good wine selection.

I just saw the previous post, the little Italian place is called Giuseppe's and it is WONDERFUL and nice on the budget. It's in a house off Locust St. I believe and sometimes Giuseppe himself will even make your dinner!
