I'm not exactly sure how timing for this is supposed to work. Our chapel is a 5 minute walk through the grounds to our reception venue. If we want to do an exit, we have to do it from the chapel as we are staying the night at our reception venue!!
Please let me know if you have any suggestions, but here's the somewhat awkward plan:
1. B & G/ WP/Parents/Grandparents exit the chapel (it's a 1-room building).
2. Family members do a receiving line
3. We go back in to snap a couple photos (seriously, just a couple b/c the lighting in the chapel is rough)
4. We exit the chapel again, this time to bird seed, bubbles, etc. thrown by guests
5. All guests head to reception space and B&G/WP/family go do more pics (but not in chapel)
Is this normal or is this more awkward than most? I can't seem to figure out what other people have done at weddings I've been to.
