Feeding non-guests?

This is probably a stupid question, but should we provide our photographers and DJ with a meal and count them with our meal count?

Personally, and I say this as a bride who voluntarily gave all my vendors the same food as the guests, who is married to someone in the wedding industry, I don't think I would hire a vendor who demanded to be fed the same food as my guests.

Have a meal requirement built in to the contract, sure, but to demand the same food as guests? Something about that just doesn't sit right with me.
