Ok, so I am the youngest child of 3 and my Dad passed away 14 years ago. I have been dealing with this practically my whole life. Now that I am engaged and getting ready to be married to the love of my life, the gaping hole of my Dad not being around is starting to get to me.
Next weekend my mom, sister, my bridesmaids, and I are going wedding dress shopping and now it hit me like a ton of bricks that he isn't here..
Also, people are now semi-forcing me to dance with my Grandfather (who's 83 and may not be able to make the wedding due to health related issues) for the Father/Daughter dance--something in my head, is especially for a father and daughter.
If anyone has gone through this before, please send some advice this way, I would LOVE to hear it.
