Tossing the bouquet at the church?

Hi Ladies!  Just wondering some thoughts on this... I do want to toss a bouquet, but I don't want to do the garter... I heard from someone the idea of tossing the bouquet after the ceremony and I thought it sounded like a kind of cute idea.  Outside of the church where we are having ceremony there is a great lawn area so it might be nice... I just wondered if anyone had done this or if anyone had thoughts on this idea or other suggestions?  Thanks!

I think it sounds cute! Before you plan on it though, think about how many truly single women you'll have at your wedding. Sometimes it's like crickets chirping when they announce it's time for the bouquet toss. Awkward.

Would you want it for photos after the ceremony? I don't think I'll be ready to part with my bouquet yet as soon AA the ceremony's over.

  • Hi SKPM,  the florist gives a special "toss" bouquet, so I wouldn't be throwing my actual bouquet...
