    I also agree with Brooke.

    MissAngel - my invites were pocketfolds, too and I only had to pay .61.  Can you go to a different post office just to make sure?

    After the snow storms of last week, this week has been crazy!  Filled with presentations and reports, tests and quizzes!  And this ONE quiz slipped my mind, and I totally forgot... Until Thursday morning

    I don't think I <em>try </em>to be "opposite" from everyone here, I think it's that I am just coming from a completely different perspective. A lot of my fundamental values/beliefs/assumptions are different from a lot of yours.

    I started typing out a response about why the comments about marriage on the SA thread bothered me, but it's getting too complicated so I'm just going to let it go. I don't think I misunderstood the comments though.

    I think a lot of the problem is that we're all just reading each other's words and then having to interpret exactly what we mean... we're getting lost in translation.

    I flame my computer, the IT jack wagons, or TK....whatever is causing my computer to freeze after reading 3 posts.  I have to close the browser and start over just to have it happen again.  After doing this 10 times in 10 mins, I give up.  Today it only happened once.  So I'm posting before it freezes.

    While I usually miss the hot button topics, I think it's ballsy for N&M to say her opinion (not just to stir the pot, though, I dislike those that do that), especially when she will be in the minority.  More times than not when I am a minority, I just sit back and ignore the post instead of voicing my own opinion when I don't agree with the majority unless it's a post that keeps bugging me and I can't not say something because what if everyone else is afraid to go against the grain?  Yes I realize the grammatical error.

    I flame my skin.  I went to lunch and sat on the patio, and I'm pretty sure I now have a sunburn from the elbow down on my left arm.  Awesome.  We were only away from the office an hour - that includes driving and ordering and everything.  BUT, it sure was nice to see the sun!!

    It's February and it's too early to have to turn on the A/C. 

    I think there is a fine line with stating your opinion when it's different from everyone else's and being argumentative.  I've been guilty of this (hello, last week) but I think a lot of us have been.  I think that some feel that it's more argumentative.

    With that having been said, I like N&M.  She has a kitty, I like her e-pics and she liked my picture with Mary Poppins.

    Maybe some layers?  My hair is also really thin, and I grew it out a lot for the wedding.  I cut about 5 inches after the wedding, and added some layers.  There's only about 2-3 inches difference between the longest and shortest layers, and it REALLY helped my hair look thicker.  I've gotten so many compliments on how healthy it looks now, and it wasn't a very drastic change, because it still feels "long" and that was important to me (well, to DH, but same difference).  Maybe something like that is what you need to cheer yourself up about your hair!
