I am kind of worried. We just changed our date, and with it the priest and venue of our wedding. The old priest said we didn't need to do anything counseling-wise until Jan 2012 since our wedding was to be in August 2012. The new priest wants us to meet with him before he will "officially" sign us up for a date. I have the reception site and caterer already booked for the date because they were available for the date change, and I had already sent the deposit. What I am worried about is what will go into this consultation and if it is some sort of a test to see IF he will marry us or just a formality in the process of signing us up. I haven't been to mass in a month and a half or so, and I am paranoid he will think I am not a serious Catholic, although I did go to Catholic School for grade school and high school, get confirmed, etc. etc.. If anyone has been through the first meeting with a Catholic priest, please tell me anything that might help/prepare me. If you haven't and just want to encourage me somehow, that would be nice too :-). I just don't want to have to change the date again...
