Hello,
I'm getting married in about a year and a half and my fiance and I are not members of any local churches. We would like to be and are going to start visiting some in our area to find one we like.
I'm posting because I don't know if we will need to find an officiant/pre-marital counselor or if we join a church sometime within the next 3 or 4 months if they will help us with this.
Anyone have input? I don't want the church to feel like we are just joining so that we have an officiant for the wedding. Any similar situations?
