Guestbook and Picture

We were planning on having a picture frame for guests to sign the mat of. Should we have a guestbook too or is that just overkill?

I'm doing both... but that's just because I want the books at the door leading to the ceremony and the frame in the reception. We have 2 doors to the ceremony and I find it easier logistically to have 2 books at each door and one frame at the door of the reception. I think it is just what works for you best!

We're just doing the photo!

We are just doing the photo instead of the guest book.  It will mean way more to me to have personal messages written on the matte that I can get framed and hang in our home than to just have a list of people's names.
