guest book?

Are guest books outdated? We are having one of our engagment pics framed and with a thick white boarder to people can sign-- is this acceptable? Do we need an actual "guest book"??

That sounds awesome! I've been to a few weddings that had those. We put our e-pics into a book from MixBook and are having guests sign that.

Edit: Adding: No, you do not need a normal old guest book, people would probably only sign one or the other anyway. What would you do with it? I'd probably end up packing it in a box that would get hidden away somewhere. :) With your frame, you can display it in your home after the fact and enjoy it for a long time to come.

  • I have seen a lot of new ideas to replace a guest book feature, like an Ad Libs of married life for your guests to fill out during cocktail hour, stamping fingerprints on art work etc.
  • I don't think you need a guest book.  It's certainly not required.  Our guests didn't miss it; neither did we.
