My Fiance and I are having a small wedding, mostly family. The ceremony is not being held in a church and neither of us are very religious. Although my fiance is Jewish and some of his family practice Judaism, some are on the fence, and yet others that are either non-denom or another religion altogether. I would like to incorporate some of the Jewish traditions into our wedding and reception. Has anyone else done this or seen it? Is it acceptable to have a non-denom wedding yet incorporate Jewish traditions? His uncle is Jewish and is going to marry us. We haven't discussed the vows with him yet, but I am certain he will be reading at least some passages from the Torah.
Any advice??
