Ok so heres the thing, I don't like cake or sweets for the most part. So if it's up to me, Im good with just serving several different sweets for our guests. I asked my FI, and he said that he didn't see the point in spending all the money on a cake, if we weren't going to enjoy eating it. Well....my FMIL flipped out because it is a tradition to cut the cake. Which got me thinking...
I think I can tolerate a cupcake...and just serve cupcakes which I know is in these days. BUT there is still nothing to really cut. I also like fresh strawberry short cake, but that is not even close to our colors so...does that matter?
