Hello,
I have a seriously strained relationship with my father who has a lot of mental health/substance abuse issues, (my sister actually un-invited him to her wedding), I think that I will still invite him, but I definitely do not want him to walk me down the aisle. I have a wonderful step-dad, (who walked my sister down the aisle) but feel that it would be a slap in the face to my biological father, and my fathers mother would be furious and create an awful, toxic enviornment that I do NOT want at my wedding. My question is, would it be weird for my fiance and I to walk down the aisle together? Or should I go alone? I've seen others walked down the aisle with their mothers, but I again think that this would create drama. Please offer any suggestions/advice! Thank you : )
