parent dances?

So I kind of feel bad for the MOB and FOG because they don't get special dances, so you do think it would appropriate if maybe half way through the father/daughter dance, FI brought my mom on the floor? Then I'd do the same for FI's father. I think it would be nice to include everyone? My other option is to have a family dance because we each have one sibling who is married or in a relationship?? Thanks for your thoughts!

I think it's a cute idea to show how both families are now being joined together and it's different so it'll be unique. I think you should go for the half way dances for each of the parents.

It is a sweet idea.  whatever you do, please don't add another special dance like a family dance.  Your guests will thank you many times over.  When the special dances drag on it isn't much fun for the guests.

That’s what I’m doing for my father/daughter dance. Halfway I’m having my mom come out. I recently told her & she seemed quite touched. My FI’s dad isn’t into that stuff, so he’s not doing that for theirs.

Okay, thanks!! I just didn't want it to be weird! I just really like the idea of all the parents having a moment. 

I just thought too- I have a brother and FI has a sister, so maybe they could dance with the other parent? Sorry if thats confusing haha. 

I definitely won't add any more special dances- I honestly think 3 is so many! I plan on cutting all of them to two minutes flat. I've watched some seriously awkward dances before... or took pee breaks haha

i am going to have my FD dance and my fiance is going to have a dance with his mom...

That's a sweet idea. I dance with my mom in the kitchen all the time, so I plan on having a dance just for her. I was also at a wedding where after the couple had their own family dances, they had two other mother-son, father-daughter dances for everyone. It was nice because the bride's brother danced with their mom, and the groom's sister danced with their dad! It was so sweet!
