Help!
My dad is a minister and I am super excited that he is doing our ceremony. He only marries couples that agree to do premarital counseling with him, and he applies that to me and the fiancee as well. The groom-to-be has said that there is absolutely no way he is going to do counseling with my dad because of, well, all the things you might think of: intimidation, doesn't want to get unreasonable expectations from my dad about how to be my husband, knows my mom will find a way to get her say into this, thinks there is no way my dad could be unbiased, etc. etc. My fiancee is open to doing counseling with another minister, just doesn't want to do it with daddy. So the problem is, how do I lovingly explain this to dad?
