Gift ideas for those donating services

My best friend makes beautiful wedding cakes and she is making mine for free.   My future sister-in-law has her own wedding photography businees and she is also donating her services to us for free.

Any ideas on some really nice gifts to get them as a thank you?

If these are their wedding gifts to you, I wouldn't get them thank-you gifts in return, though I would write them really nice thank you notes that maybe included an invitation to take them out to dinner or something.  But as much as the instinct to thank people for doing nice things for you is a good one, it's actually not very good etiquette to try to thank people for a gift by giving them another gift, no matter how nice the original gift is.

Agree that you shouldn't thank them for their gift with another gift.

Write really nice thank you notes, and put them to the head of the line for people to invite over for a nice dinner in the months after the wedding.

I would (and am) giving gift cards. I have a few family friends who have said its thier present, but I know the effort off the services, far exceedes what I would want people to pay for gifts, especially since I am not that close to those providing various services. So a thank you card with a gift card to a nice restaurant or even starbucks something. I wouldnt make a show of it,  but I would try and thank them beyond just a generic thank you card.

Thank you All for your input!  I actually hadn't even thought of it as giving a gift to thank them for a gift.  

I like the idea of a really nice heartfelt letter along with a nice dinner out.
