Wiccan Brides

Any Wiccan or Pagan brides out there? Looking for some suggestions that won't alienate every guest at my wedding without neglecting my beliefs. My vows are mine, so that's taken care of, but looking for something my officiant can say/do.

Re: Wiccan Brides

  • I've been in a Wiccan ceremony. It included a blessing stone ceremony, broom handmade by the parents, tying of the hands with ribbon. All stuff that really isn't that far off of a traditional wedding. The words were simple, paying tribute to the four corners and heartfelt. I don't think anyone felt alienated, even those that are unfamiliar with the beliefs. There are plenty of internet sites with sample prgrams and transcripts that can be used and adapted to what you want and how you will feel comfortable expressing your love in your faith.

I did a search at the top of the page for Wiccan Wedding and this is what came up, hope it helps you out a bit :)

  • Post your question on the second weddings page.  I know there is someone over there who could help you!
  • Thank you everyone. :)
  • Many Universalist Unitarian websites have good ideas on customizing your ceremony for any beliefs you wish to include.  I would also Google search for Pagan weddings, Wiccan weddings, etc.
