So I have a very estranged relationship with my father (he was violent and has never been supportive monetarily or emotionally)-on top of that he isn't helping with the wedding and doesn't seem to like my fiance. I have already decided that I do not want him to walk me down the aisle-I'll walk myself-but I do not know how to tell him. He's good at the guilt trip but my biggest concern is my grandfather-his father-is our pastor for the wedding. I am very close to my grandparents and do not want to start drama with them so I am trying to think how to tell my father he's not walking me down the aisle with the least amount of drama and when should I do this?
