2yr Engagement

My fiance and I recently got engaged but our wedding won't actually be for another 2yrs after he finishes grad school....when should we have our engagement party???!!!

My response for the Just Engaged board,
"Whenever the host wants to throw it (It is really rude and tacky to throw your own E party). But sooner rather than later would be better. Additionally, everyone invited must be invited to the wedding. So keep the guest list small because relationships can change when the wedding is two years away."

In the future put XP in the title when you post on more than one board. Most regular posters here post on several of the boards.
