HELP!!

Most of my wedding party moved away recently, this includes my mother, Sisters (Bridesmaids) and ring bearers. I dont really have anyone to go with me to get my dress. My FI offered to come with me. is this a no-no? will i be like the only one in the boutique with their man there??? i dont want to drive the 40 miles alone. adn be there alone. what do i do??

and im not taking anyone with bad taste. So they can say oh that looks like crap wehn i really like it.

So I see your wedding is in October, right? So you six months but you should get started on it....

I would first talk to your mom and anyone who you would WANT to go with you, and see if someone plans on being in town anytime soon. Go then.

If not, then if there is NO ONE at all in the area that you would be OK with just going with you for support you have a choice: Would you rather go alone and find a dress? OR Would you rather that FI goes with you and he sees it before the wedding? Which is more important.

But it is more than OK to take him with you if you want. Yes, you may possbily be the only person in there with their FI at the particular time, but maybe not. Even if you are, it's not a big deal.

I agree with the other ladies here- it's perfectly fine to go with your FI or by yourself.  I went alone and it was the best experience!  Trust me, once that dress is on, you'll know and the salespeople at boutiques are honest- it's their job to find you a dress that fits your budget and body.

my family moved to Utah. and i am in texas. lol i dont know how soon they will be down. But i already have my dress, im just going to pick it up at the boutique and try out color options. idk i really dont like driving alone, but im not sure if i want him to see the dress yet. i guess i will just have to weigh my options.

If that's the case then ask if he'll drive with you, have him drop you off and let him go do something around town and make a day of it afterwards (like go have dinner or do some activity in the town that the dress is in).
