Who is soposed to come to a bridal shower? My sister says its just the bridal party, I thought it was all the friends of the bride. So which one is it?

Whomever you would like. It can be every woman invited to the wedding, it can be just family, it can be just friends, it can be family & friends. The important thing is if someone is invited to the shower they must be invited to the wedding.  You might have more than one shower, if people offer to host them for you. It's not unusual to have one for your family & friends and another one held by his family & friends.

Showers are not just for the bridal party unless you choose to make it that way. You need someone to offer to host one for you and then find out how many you can invite from them.  You have to keep the number of people you invite within what those hosting the shower can afford.

As PP said, it can be every woman invited, it can be one set of friends or it can be just the bridal party. Its really just a personal preference.

Ok, thats what I thought. I'm just wanting it to be my friends and probably his sister and mom. Thanks girls!

You might want to seriously think about his mom, any sisters he might have, if his grandmothers are living you might want to invite them. Typically the groom's mom, etc want to be included as their son is also getting married.

It can be whomever you wish. Just as long as they are invited to the wedding as well.

Ya, I'm thinking it will be some of my friends, my older sisters, his sister, and his mother.

whoever is important to you as long as they are invited to the wedding. Women is his family, his mom's friends, your friends, family, etc.
However if you sister is throwing it and wants to cap the number that is also her perogative. You might ask the host how many they would like to expect
